Stretch marks, also known as striae, are very common skin conditions. They are narrow streaks or linear lines tha can appear in different colors on skin surface, post a peroid of time the skin is stretched and expanded. The most common areas for stretch marks to occur are the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, and breasts. And the most common causes ffor stretch mark is often pregnancy, rapid weight gain and body growth like puberty. Less common causes are corticosteroid use or other medical issue.

Stretch marks typically occur when the skin undergoes rapid stretching or expansion, causing the collagen and elastin fibers in the dermis (the middle layer of the skin) to break or tear. The reasons for this rapid stretching can vary, but some common causes include:
