Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) injection is a medical procedure that involves using a patient's own blood to create nutrient rich mixture to promote tissue healing and regeneration. PRF contains a rich concentrate of platelets and growth factors obtained from the patient's blood, suspended in a meshwork of fibrin, a naturally occuring protein in the blood.

If you see the PRF tube in person, you will be amazed that it doesn't contain any additives compared to conventional PRP tubes.  This is important for many reasons, number one is that it means the PRF is entirely the patients own, with no artificial addictives. It also ensures that the fibrins are not broken down by the anti-coagulant present in the additive.

This meshwork of fibrin is not present in conventional PRP (Platelet rich plasma), however is crucial in the efficacy and longevity of PRF treatment. It holds the nutrients in, and create a slow release environment for the nutrients, allowing them to work gradually over time.
