What are skinbosters?

Different brands and formulations of skin boosters are available, and we can make recommendations based on individuals skin need.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the skin, connective tissues, and other parts of the body. It has the ability to retain water, providing hydration and volume to the skin. As we age, we lose natural hyaluronic acid component in our skin, resulting dry skin, dullness, finelines and lose of elasticity, In skin booster treatments, we inject hyaluronic acid back into the skin to enhance its appearance and address specific concerns.

How are the skin boosters administered?

It can be administered through a variety of methods, including a skin booster gun, needle injection and cannula injection. No matter which modality is used, we ensure our patient are comfortable through use of numbing cream and injections. Depends on the skin condition and product choice, multiple treatments are needed and maintenance sessions are also required to maintain optimal results. 

How long does each treatment take?

Depends on the treatment method thats used, a numbing cream is applied to the face for 30mins. Afterward, the treatment itself is often very quick and can be as fast as 10-15 mins. However our appointments are booked for longer than the treatment time, as we understand how important pre-treatment assessment and communicationis, as well as post treatment instructions. So we don't rush our appointments!
