Accent prime is a  skin tightening and contouring treatment platform that combines ultrasound and radiofrequency energy. The advantage of this plateform is the treatments are nearly painless and very comfortable,  compared to other energy based devices, while providing comparable results. We highly recommend this treatment for people that cannot tolerate pain or discomfort during other energy based devices. We can use accent prime to treat the face and body. 

The ultrasound hand piece can be used to non-invasively target fat cells, causing them to expand and burst. This is great for unwanted fat in the double chin, arm and abdominal area.

However, we need to understand that the ultrasound fat reduction hand piece is a contouring treatment, but not a weight loss treatment. This means that the overall body weight will not change after a series of treatment, but a noticeable improvement in contours can be seen. It is also important to maintain healthy and stable weight during the treatments, because after the treatment series has finished, any excessive weight gain can reverse the fat contouring results. 

How many treatments are needed:

Accent prime is a non-invasive and long term treatment, multiple sessions are required initially to see results. In general, recommend purchasing the treatments in a package of 3 to 6. We recommend coming closer together for initial treatment, eg. 2 weeks apart if you can make it to achieve a noticeable results quicker. Once desirable outcome is achieved, we still recommend to come in monthly or two monthly to maintain your results. 

What do you expect during the treatment?

The treatment is simple, very tolerable, and nearly painless. A treatment gel or cream is applied and the applicator will glide back and forth over the treatment area. A slight heat sensation can be felt during the treatment. 

It takes about 30-60min per session, with minimal downtime, therefore it is suitable as a “lunchtime treatment”, and is convenient for people that have a busy schedule. 

What do you expect after the treatment?

The skin can feel a bit warm, and red, which settles very quickly over the next hour or two. It shouldn’t affect the daily activities.
